Yeah, I've been busy. Sorry.
I started working for SOC Monday, and it's been wearing me out. Someone somewhere thought it'd be funny to make me technical director for the season.
And while I guess the progress we've been making demonstrates I can amply handle it, being the guy in charge of all technical aspects of both productions is pretty nerve wracking.
Two of the guys on my crew have been doing carpentry for as long as I've been alive, yet I'm the one who's telling what to do and how to do it? I don't feel like I'm ready for that sort of responsibility.
But again, given the progress we've been making, I guess that I actually am ready. Especially since the designs didn't come with any working plans, so I've pretty much been making up how to build the damn thing as we go along.
Now all I need is a paycheck for the work I'm doing and I'll be a happy little bumble bee.
Because right now my checking account is depleted, and I got a car payment due tomorrow.
Wish me luck.
