To paraphrase Bill Hicks (RIP):
When did mediocrity and banality become the standard by which we judge things good or bad?
I never want to do a show where people give me or other actors a standing ovation because the audience thought they did a good job.
I want to do shows that people are stunned into silence by, that people stand up and applaud loudly too because there's no other way for them to express the feelings that we have evoked in them.
I want to do shows that people choose to ignore, not because they are stupid, but because they force people to make the choice to either sit through it or ignore it.
The Truth must be told at all costs, and right now, the Truth has been very silently ignored by my contemporaries.
