April 1999
You know, it's funny how things turn out. Several friends of mine got together and ambitiously set out to create a new acting style. I had several opportunities to sit in on their meetings, throwing out offhand comments whenever they came to me.
One comment actually helped give them the basis of their ideas. It involved the tearing down of character types because they are no longer necessary.
They took the idea and ran with it! What's more, its inaugural performance was a complete success!
Amazingly, they seem to have credited the entire idea to pot and alcohol.
For some reason, I find this happening a lot. It's not that big a deal, really-- not getting credit.
It's just that, if no one remembers the things I've done, who will remember me?
